Al Wajajah is the Omani checkpoint on the road from Hatta in the United Arab Emirates. Look for Hatta on the UAE side and Al Wajajah on the Oman side when setting your route. The Royal Oman Police lists +968 2687 9959 for Al Wajajah Customs.

Before driving, check Oman’s entry rules for your passport and confirm whether your visa or exemption covers arrival by land. If you’re hiring a car in the UAE, ask for written permission to take it into Oman and check that the insurance covers the Oman leg. Check your UAE re-entry conditions if you plan to drive back.
