Tay Trang

Tay Trang (Tây Trang) is the Vietnamese road checkpoint between Dien Bien province and Phongsaly in northern Laos. Look for Pang Hok on the Lao side. Vietnamese government documents also spell it Pang Hốc. The crossing is on the road from Dien Bien Phu into northern Laos.

Which e-visas work here?

Vietnam lists Tay Trang Landport for entry and exit on a Vietnamese e-visa. If you are travelling into Vietnam, check that your visa covers this port.

Pang Hok is absent from the Lao list of designated eVisa entry points. If you need a visa for Laos, ask Lao immigration which documents it accepts at this crossing before setting out.
