Twin Pagodas of Suzhou (Shuangta)

Two identical seven-tiered brick pagodas of the 10th century, raised under the Song dynasty beside the Luohanyuan monastery. A classic example of the paired symmetrical pagoda in Chinese architecture: the city around them has changed beyond recognition, while the towers themselves have stood untouched for over a thousand years.
