A pedestrian stretch of Zhongshan Middle Road in Hangzhou, laid along the line of the ceremonial road of the Southern Song, when the city was the capital of the empire. In the rebuilding of the late 2000s a narrow lit water channel was run along the pavement, while the facades of the early 20th century and the old shops were kept. The street comes out at the Siguaijiao crossroads and at neighbouring Hefang street.
