Chongsheng Temple

A Buddhist monastery on the slope of Cangshan above the Three Pagodas, which under Nanzhao and Dali served as the state temple. The ancient buildings perished and the complex was raised anew in 2005, with halls climbing the slope in terraces, joined by broad stairways and avenues of cypresses. From the upper courtyards a view opens over the pagodas and Erhai lake.
