Cathedral Bell Tower of the Ryazan Kremlin

The classical bell tower at the entrance to the kremlin took half a century to build, from 1789 to 1840, and several architects worked on its tiers in turn, which is why those tiers differ noticeably from one another. With its spire it reaches about 83 metres, the chief vertical accent of Ryazan, visible from the Oka several kilometres away.
