Three brick pagodas at the foot of Cangshan, the oldest thing to survive from the Nanzhao kingdom. The central one, Qianxun, was raised in the 9th century, has sixteen tiers and stands about 69 metres high, while the two flanking towers are lower, of ten tiers, and lean noticeably. The pagodas came through several earthquakes that destroyed the monastery itself.
