Suvorov Street

The main pedestrian street of old Vitebsk was called Uzgorskaya before the revolution. Two- and three-storey houses of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries run along it in an unbroken line, with cafes between them and small street sculpture such as the so-called polite lamp post. The street links the town hall with Dormition Hill.
