Dali Confucius Temple

The town Confucian temple, or wenmiao, in the western part of Dali Old Town. The complex is built to the canon, with a gate, a courtyard and an open space before the main Dacheng hall where the incense burners stand, and an old theatre stage to one side. A statue of Confucius is set up at the entrance.
