Khudayar Khan Palace

The residence of the last ruler of the Kokand Khanate was built between 1863 and 1873. Its long facade is raised on a platform, a gentle ramp leads up to the main portal, and the majolica facing was made by craftsmen from Rishtan, the pottery centre nearby. Only part of the original seven courtyards and 119 rooms has survived, and the palace today houses a museum of local history.
