East Block and West Block opened in 1866. The House of Commons now meets temporarily in West Block while Centre Block is restored. Monuments and the Centennial Flame are on the grounds; construction can change access and views.

Parliament tours are free and run in English and French. Reserve an available time before visiting. The West Block entrance is through the Visitor Welcome Centre between West Block and Centre Block. Allow extra time for security screening before the time on your ticket.

Check which building you booked

The Senate tour takes place at a different address, 2 Rideau Street. Parliament: The Immersive Experience is at 211 Sparks Street. Neither booking gives access to the closed Centre Block.

The Hill's address is 111 Wellington Street.
