A karst cave on Bo Hon island in Ha Long Bay, opened up by the French at the end of the 19th century; Vietnamese guidebooks call it the cave of surprises. The entrance lies about 25 metres above the water and a stairway leads inside. The route passes through two large chambers of stalactites and stalagmites lit by coloured floodlights and comes out on a platform with a view of the bay.
