Taiping Lake Gardens is a historic public park established in 1884 on former tin-mining land. Its lakes, lawns and wooded avenues form a broad green space close to the town centre and remain one of Taiping’s defining civic landscapes.
Walking paths run beneath mature trees and along the water, with bridges connecting different parts of the gardens. Taiping Zoo and the Perak Museum are nearby, making the park an easy stop on a heritage walk through town. Allow time to explore the lakeside paths and tree-lined avenues at an unhurried pace.
