Huangcheng Mosque

The main congregational mosque of Chengdu, close to Tianfu Square. The building is raised in the Chinese tradition, with a courtyard, a symmetrical facade with arches and a tiled roof with upturned corners, rather than in Middle Eastern forms. The name comes from the former imperial city on whose site the quarter stands.
