Salar Mosque

A small mosque in the Erdaoqiao quarter, a couple of hundred metres from the International Grand Bazaar. It is named after the Salars, a Turkic-speaking Muslim people who live mainly in Qinghai and Gansu. A low dome finishes the white block with its tall pointed windows, and a minaret with an onion finial stands beside it.
