Hongya Cave

A many-tiered complex on the steep bank of the Jialing, put up in 2006 in the manner of the traditional stilt houses known as diaojiaolou. Eleven floors cling to the slope in such a way that there is an entrance both from the waterfront below and from Cangbai street above. In the evening the tiers are lit yellow and the building reads as one solid wall of lights above the river.
