Bukhara Panorama with the Kalon Minaret

A sweeping view over old Bukhara with the famous 47-metre Kalon Minaret at its centre, one of the city's defining silhouettes and standing since 1127. Around it are the domes of the Kalon Mosque, the Mir-i-Arab Madrasa and the covered trading domes. The panorama is shot either from the upper levels of the Ark or from the roofs of nearby buildings.
