Tajrish Bazaar

A covered market in the north of Tehran at the foot of the Alborz, pressed right up against the shrine of Imamzadeh Saleh. The main row deals in fruit and vegetables, and next to it come spices, nuts and dried fruit, tableware and textiles. Tajrish was once a separate suburb where well-off Tehranis went for the summer.
