Beijing Central Business District (Guomao)

The central business district of Beijing along Jianguo avenue grew up on the site of an industrial outskirt from the 1990s onwards. Here stand the office towers of Guomao, the CCTV headquarters and the China Zun skyscraper, 528 metres high and the tallest building in the city. The blocks are built up densely, and only narrow pedestrian corridors are left between the towers.
