Light and Music Fountain on Teatralnaya Square

The dry fountain on Teatralnaya Square rises straight out of the paving, without a basin or kerbs. By day townspeople escaping the heat gather around the jets, and the site turns into an open-air pool. In the evening the lighting comes on and the water changes colour in time with music. The square lies between the Golden Gate and the drama theatre, and the walking route along Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street begins here.
