Baidasi White Mosque

A mosque in the Erdaoqiao quarter, next to the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar. A prayer house appeared on this spot in 1924, and later the present building was raised in its place with money from local Uyghur residents and merchants. A gilded dome rises above the white facade with its pointed windows, two minarets stand at the sides, and in the evening the building is lit up.
