Luohan Temple

A Buddhist monastery in the Jiefangbei quarter, known for its gallery of five hundred statues of arhats, from which its name comes. The community has existed since the Northern Song, and the present buildings have been renewed many times, most recently after the war. Today the yellow walls and tiled roofs are hemmed in between the glass towers of the business centre.
