Monument to Dmitry Donskoy

The equestrian statue of the prince stands by the walls of the Kolomna Kremlin and was unveiled in 2007, the work of the sculptor Alexander Rukavishnikov. The place was not chosen by chance, for it was at Kolomna in 1380 that the Russian army gathered before setting out for Kulikovo Field.
