Monument to Viktor Tsoi

A steel sculpture by the city stadium of Karaganda, unveiled on 26 August 2017. The Karaganda architect Dmitry Bykov took the cover of the album A Star Called Sun as his starting point, cutting the face of the musician into a huge metal disc with rays so that the sky shows through the slits. The monument was given to the city by a fund of Kazakh-Korean friendship.
