Guangxi Ethnographic Park

Attraction·Наньнин·China

Behind the museum building lies a park that gathers the traditional buildings of the mountain peoples of Guangxi. Its main exhibit is a wind and rain bridge of the Dong people, a long wooden gallery on stone piers covered with a many-tiered tiled roof and put together without a single nail. A drum tower and the stilt houses of the Zhuang and the Miao stand beside it, while the paths wind along a pond under old trees. The glass towers of the business quarter loom over the roofs on one side, and everyone here notices that contrast. There are noticeably fewer people in the park than in the museum itself, and it can be walked round in half an hour.
