Bibi-Khanym Mausoleum

The mausoleum of the early fifteenth century stands across the street from the congregational mosque. It is linked with Saray Mulk Khanum, the senior wife of Timur, since burials of women of the Timurid family were found in the crypt beneath the hall. The building stayed a ruin for a long time and was restored in the twentieth century.
