Penang Bazaar

A covered clothing market on Jalan Penang in the centre of George Town. Under the low roof stretch two rows of stalls with clothes, fabrics, bags and shoes, and the traders are mostly Malay and Indian families. The market adjoins the neighbouring Chowrasta and works as an everyday place rather than a souvenir one.
