Rupse Falls, also known as Rupse Chhahara, lies near Dana village in Myagdi District, beside the road connecting Beni and Jomsom. The stream drops over a rocky ledge into the Kali Gandaki valley, where steep slopes alternate between green patches and exposed stone. The waterfall is an easy stop on a journey through the lower valley or toward Mustang, provided road and weather conditions allow a safe pause.

The falls are most forceful during the monsoon, when the stream carries more water. In drier months, individual channels may be thinner, making the rock face and the watercourse below easier to see. Mountain weather can change quickly, and heavy rain can bring loose rock and swollen side streams. Keep back from cliff edges and do not cross the flow for a closer view. Check local road conditions before setting out: the Beni–Jomsom route crosses mountainous terrain, so travel times depend on weather and the state of the road.

Most visitors see Rupse Falls while travelling between Pokhara, Beni, Tatopani, and Mustang rather than making it a full-day destination on its own. The Kali Gandaki corridor and villages around Dana make natural additions to the same journey. Shoes with good grip are useful because rocks beside the water can remain slippery even in dry weather. Use marked access paths where available and keep litter out of the stream and surrounding slopes.
