Alisher Navoi Metro Station

The station opened in 1984 and was made as a ceremonial hall of eastern architecture, with rows of pointed arches, domed vaults in carved ganch and a scheme of blues. Round majolica medallions on the track walls carry scenes from the poems of Alisher Navoi. It is usually called the most ornate station of the Tashkent metro.
